[Dragonmail] Artemis

[So on Sunday evening, Artemis finds a bunch of stuff delivered to his house by dragonmail: 15 slime hearts sealed in jars, 20 bear stomachs in glass cases, two wooden cases of firewater, five sealed pitchers of waterfire, and six bottles of a green gas called forest vapor.]

[And a note.]

Rest assured, the bears were very angry.

I trust this will suffice for the fuel?

[What is all this even.]

Pardon?
graveyardmoon: (You'll regret that)

I must regretfully inform you that my phone was stolen during an excursion to Bastan on Friday.

I am not the one who requested these materials.

That does depend on what you wanted done with them.

Slime hearts are a primary ingredient in several Saftan delicacies.

Ah, yes, they are quite useless for that.

The sort you might expect from slime hearts.

Why are you launching rockets into space?

[brb googling satellites and rockets and all that shit she just talked about]

I see.

That seems a rather complex matter. If your intent is purely the synthesis of fuel for existing rocket designs, that's merely a question of finding the correct formula for brewing. That would require a sample to work from.

However, it seems as though in the long run it would be more effective to design a completely different sort of rocket that utilizes alchemy more efficiently. That would require quite a bit of research.
graveyardmoon: (Hmm...)

[ehhh he's got this other major project he's working on right now tho]

[...but it is a chance to learn more Earth tech, and the idea of getting things into space seems fascinating...]

Yes.
