No, but I haven't seen any monsters yet. I've seen plants, though. There's a tree in my friend's yard that really shouldn't be there. There's also a patch of ferns behind my dorm that really shouldn't be there, and yet... there they are.

I... guess a new tree is weird. I wouldn't really get that excited about it unless it was my tree and I was like 900% sure it was new.

And how do you even notice inappropriate ferns? Are you taking a fern inventory every day?

Yeah, it was new. Did you participate in that event XDAV did where we got to see the original Xumurdad battle-ground? Because the tree that showed up in my friend's yard is a tree from that area, and said tree doesn't even grow in this part of the world.

No, but I know the foliage outside my own window. There should be bushes and flowers. Ferns? No.

Okay, even supposing you have genuine surprise plantlife popping up around you, do you really think it's FROM the GAME?

I mean, who knows, maybe there's a rich super-fan running around town carrying out random acts of eco-fandom. Makes more sense than fake crap turning real.

Yes, honey, because it's completely possible to quietly uproot one fully grown tree and replace it with another fully grown tree overnight. :|

Gabe, for fucking real. Once you eliminate the impossible (see: magic), whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.

A crazy RPer uprooting and replacing a tree is improbable but possible. Magic teleporting trees from the game to Earth is not.

I'm afraid not. Gabe is highly resistant to science.

So some random guy with silent as the dead equipment sneaks into Alison's yard just to replace a birch tree with an acacia and the new tree and the area around it doesn't look disturbed at all. Right. Because that makes sense.

Intuition tells me that isn't it, honey. You can try to qualify it with science all you want, but I know something weird is going on here.

It makes more sense than saying a fucking wizard did it!

It's my tree. And I'm absolutely positive it was a birch tree before it turned into this. [links to a picture of what looks like an acacia tree]

No signs to indicate it had been replanted. Grass was fine, fence was undamaged, the trunk wasn't scratched up.

And for reference, here's the yard a few months ago when I had my parents over. [the other trees in both pics can be compared, it's the same yard, and that is indeed a birch tree, along with her parents at a picnic table shh.]

Finally, someone with evidence.

I kinda wish the most compelling case to turn up so far wasn't random tree swappage, but oh well, I guess I'll take what I can get.

When did one of your trees turn into an acacia and why didn't you tell me?

So does that mean there's a chance that Kyle wasn't imagining the sylphie he saw fly across our lawn? Because he told us he saw one before breakfast, and we all kind of just thought he was coffee-deprived when he said he saw it.
