I don't know if what people are saying is true but... science didn't discover a lot of things until recently, right? So people say there are monsters and monsters aren't real, but...
Animals are real!
And maybe this is all new science and they're only scary animals with undiscovered natural defenses?

Like, um, magic. You can call a thing magic and that makes people think it's not real, but what if you called it something else and it has a good explanation? Do people believe it better then...? Even if it's the same thing that happened...

Ah. But I think someone will find a way to explain things eventually!
