You know, I would've thought these would have gotten shut down, too, after what happened to X-DAV yesterday. How are the forums even still running?

Maybe the forums weren't on the servers?

But they had to be on the servers, didn't they? I mean, I kind of assumed anything X-DAV related was run on whatever they had in the building.

So if they aren't hosted there... where are they hosted now? I'd say it'd be silly to consider somewhere in Zen, but considering they apparently have their own tablets now and ways to connect to this thing, I guess it isn't so silly any more, huh?

If they're hosted at all. Given the way things are happening, I wonder if there's some kinda magical process at work for the boards...

Me, too. <3 I mean, there are some people I talk to here that I don't have phone numbers for, so it's not like I could call them or anything. I'm just kind of surprised they're still here, you know? The forums, I mean.

So does that mean they're powered by ghosts? Or the forums are like ghosts in that they live on in spite of server shutdown?

No, actually, I don't. The only time I've seen ghosts used to power anything was that terrible horror movie that came out when my parents were kids: Thirteen Ghosts. You ever see it? I wish I could forget it, honestly.

Of course I've seen Thirteen Ghosts! It's a really interesting idea but they didn't make the movie as scary as it could've been.

Maybe a movie about ghosts powering an internet forum would turn out better.

Sort of, but not quite. I mean, I thought the Jackal was pretty scary.

I don't know. If ghosts are involved in a horror movie, most people expect them to be creepy and tormenting the living. Ghosts powering an internet forum probably wouldn't do too well.

They're troll ghosts. They torment users by making nasty posts to stir up trouble.

Yes, but where's the blood and gore? Unless it's some sort of possession/psychological horror film, there needs to be blood!

It could be psychological! All about how people react when their communities are threatened or something like that. Like people end up on a witch-hunt to catch the troll ghosts.
