It was something my player chose for me. I am less than inclined to honor her decisions.

Of course, that is a poor reason to make a choice in and of itself.

Oh, there is more.

The capacity to remain standing against an onslaught of blows, then crush your opponent with a few well-timed spell strikes has its appeal, as well.

But the armor is a considerable plus.
