Sweetie, could you do me a huge favor? My dorm room's unlocked. Could you go in there, find my teal scarf, and send it to me? It's either on my desk or in my closet. I forgot to grab it before I left. I'll pay you back whatever the dragon makes you pay for shipping.

It isn't immediate or anything, mind. Take your time. I'd just like it eventually.

Oh, and feel free to take whatever food/drink I have in the mini-fridge in there. I'm probably not going to be back before it goes bad. Someone should eat it.

A little disgusted, but that's mostly because of the whole organ eating thing. Otherwise I kind of feel the same.

I could see how Rei worked. So, you know, that was weird. Did I tell you she was with me, too? I can't remember, but she totally showed up at three in the morning one day. Did not appreciate that very much.

She wrote to me.

She's done a lot for us. Nayan. Now this.
She's someone we can trust, I think.

So you knew about this before I said anything at all, didn't you?

Yeah. She was teaching me some things. I think she still will if I ask her nicely enough. I don't think she knows I was Nayan's player, though, or, if she does, it wasn't me who told her. There hasn't been a good time to bring it up. At least I was able to repay her for freeing Nayan for me, even if she doesn't know what I did it for.

I'm at the World Library. I need to get all his golems working again, and I think Rei said something about him blowing out the roof when he left? I don't know. Either way, I should fix that, if it hasn't been fixed already.

I came ahead of Rei, but she should be back soon? I wanted to get a head start on starting the golems up again, and she was writing dragon mails to someone. I don't know, but they seemed important. I didn't want to keep her from writing them, and the teleportation spell was pretty easy to work out once she told me the basics.

Honey, I know all about Aerveas being a sore loser and taking over Bastan. Rei filled me in. We are kicking him out of there, aren't we? Just because Omid's gone is no reason for him to think he can take over Everea.

I'm pretty sure people are going to clue in when they see golems that weren't working a few minutes ago working again. The Asha's the only reason these things work at all, or something.

Okay. Easiest way to start off, I guess. You know how, like, a week and a half ago I made some lame excuse about my parents calling and I wound up missing the tournament party that night? That was kind of because the Asha sort of appeared in my dorm room, he didn't want anyone to know he was there, and he didn't want me to leave, either.

So the Asha was secretly living in my room for a little over a week. Please don't hate me for not telling you. I promised him I wouldn't tell anybody.

Yeah. He died peacefully after my final today. It had to be me, though, honey. It wasn't like Rei could take the lungs, since she's a golem, and someone had to restart her and all the others working in the World Library, so I had to go to Zen once Rei showed me how.

Speaking of Rei, she may or may not still be in my room. She might immobilize you if you go in there, so maybe knock first?

Okay, yeah, she kind of immobilized me when we first met, but to be fair, she thought I kidnapped the Asha.

Who, by the way, also knows Reilanin. She knows both of the alts who want to kill me. So I don't care how nice she was to you, that means jack shit to me in terms of my own personal safety.
