My sympathy is connected to my actions because anticipating hurting people affects whether I want to do it.

But if I make a mistake, or if... something else goes wrong with that, I don't feel guilt after. If they're close to me I feel bad for them and try to make up for it, but I don't feel... that sort of self hatred and disappointment mixture... thing.
