[Thursday morning, after Rachel writes back!]

Hey, I wrote to Rachel last night in-game. She wrote back this morning.

She's in Bastan, says the clerics are keeping her safe and that the Queen made the teleport mages quit, that's why they're not around. She says she can't write to anyone unless it's a reply.

I told her I'd let people know she was safe.

I don't think I've ever been happier to find out someone's all right in my entire life. I've been worried she'd wind up like Emily.

Not really hard to figure out if she saw the screenshots and recognized her after she crossed over. Especially already knowing Quartz had vanished...

I met Nadir yesterday. Fucking crazy. Saw him cover his sword with ice and then shatter it on the roof.

I still can't believe it.

So he's definitely real, then. A real... spellsword, right?

I don't think he knows. He was fighting greycloaks and then he was here, that's what Ezra said happened. He doesn't seem real happy about it either, but Ezra said he's always been quiet IC.

Maybe we should try to get a science/tech person in on this. I mean, how else are we going to figure out how things are able to leave a game or go into it unless it happens to one of us?

Either way we word it, we'd be pretty hard-pressed to find someone who'd believe it were possible without them being a loon.

I don't even know. The only people I can think of who would have any idea whatsoever only exist in movies, and that is not helpful at all.

There are a handful of us in this together, at least.

If we can trust that we haven't lost it and keep comparing notes, we may come up with something.

i wonder what happened when she went over. if shes okay, she musta got lucky with where she ended up.

Sounds like she wound up a cleric. I'd have rather she wound up in Safta, but at least it's not Pakerion.

Might be worthwhile to keep an eye out for her if you can. Not sure where in Bastan she is, but if she's with the clerics, the church would be a good start.
