[Dragon Mail: Ezra Amos]
I spoke to the Asha.
Whatever research he tried to do didn't sit well with him. He seems convinced he's going to die.
He refused protection.
[Dragon Mail: Reilanin]
I met with the Asha.
I'm sorry. I wasn't able to find out anything more about your connection to him.
[Dragon Mail: Jordan Hayes]
Got to see the Asha last night.
You know how they say mages can lose their minds...?

I suppose. It simply makes no sense to me to think on such things when the present requires so much of my attention already.

You're right. It really doesn't make any sense. [Aah beautiful logic, if only the brain listened better.]

[there's a pause in the letters- she's been drawing in... well, not stoats, but they look similar, only they've got larger, feathery ears and two tails. a common enough sight in southern safta]
Even the stories of Zenderael's creation by Xumurdad begins with the destruction of supposed other continents, saying they were enveloped by the waters. I've read of Earth and where it's placed in the universe, what it looks like from space... like a blue ball, with continents scattered all around it. Perhaps our world was like that once. The stories make it sound as though that were so.

Mm, Earth has more land masses than Zenderael, but if Zenderael has the same amount of ocean... Even legends contain some kind of truth, right?
Sounds like good incentive to keep Xumurdad out of Earth, too. Not that anyone was looking forward to that as it was.

Perhaps these things existed then...

I've continued to look for other such things, but nothing, so far. At least I can say that I am well occupied now.

Maybe there's fossil evidence, or they've since evolved into other creatures. Or metamorphosed. Is that something magic can do to wildlife?
I'd offer more help, but I'm likely more useful for fighting than research.

Magic can manipulate things to a certain degree, but as far as I know, not in such a way as to transform a whole species. To do so would require an untold amount of power.
[....something like Xumurdad, maybe.]
No... this is enough. Thank you. I appreciate your speaking with me. Your knowledge of Earth combined with your experience of Zenderael is invaluable.

I see. So the latent magic wouldn't be enough to shift anything.
[...But an entity they call a god...]
Yeah? I'm glad then. If you find anything else, I'll try to answer as much as I can. [Even if it isn't much.]

I'll do that. [knowing rei she most definitely will]

I hope you find what you're looking for.
