Hey, hun! Checking in. I'm not dead yet. ;)

I'm actually having a lot of fun with classes, which is weird because you wouldn't think I would. I mean, it's school, but all the Zen stuff they've added is ridiculously fun. I'm still trying to clean everything and make the room look awesome before that roommate shows up. No one has yet, which is kind of weird, but I fully expect one to show up when I least expect it. Better to be prepared than not prepared at all.

Did you want me to send you something of yours that Gunnar didn't take? I mean, the dragons apparently get kind of mad if it's over a certain size, but I could send you something if you wanted...

So completely random question. Since when do you have a rhino?

Hey, that's good to hear. At least everyone's adjusting. Better to enjoy it than to live in fear. Hopefully everything in Fall City is feeling safer than it has been.

Do you think dragons could carry a laptop? It's the only thing I wouldn't want in someone else's hands.

And the king was getting out of hand. I doubt he'll show up himself. All he'll do is hide behind some berserker champion. They can't respect that.

Honey, I love you, but I'm tired of hiding. I had to during Kharveryos, I had to for the peppermint knight. I mean, don't get me wrong. I love the whole idea of the princess in the tower thing, but I need to be able to take care of myself.

It was a good idea! I'm kind of kicking myself for not thinking to take it before you asked me to, though. I mean, it's useful stuff. Magic theory's great and all, but it only does so much when you can't actually cast the spells, you know?

It sure looks like an army. I don't know enough about him to say, but I'd bet more on him doing the invading as the world changes. Especially with how he treats people form Earth.

I don't blame you, honestly. Any time he came up whenever I was on Nayan, he seemed kind of sketchy to me. There was a reason I avoided Pakerion as much as I did.

After the tournament, it should be easier to convince him to listen.

So am I. But it seemed to like the idea of it better if I put it in the bag, so I figured if it made it easier for the poor guy, it was the best plan.

I'd be more worried about keeping it from Nayan, personally. It really would not surprise me if he swiped Earth tech from people running around Zenderael. If he finds out you have a laptop, he might try to take that, too.

Nayan contacted me a while ago, but I didn't have anything interesting to tell him. It sounds like he's still all right, but I guess I wouldn't know. Have you been keeping up with him?

Sort of? I mean, we were talking a bit before I wrote you just now. He sent me dragon mail asking if you had a rhino and then I guess he thought when you two wrote last, you might have been mad at him? I don't even know.

Well, maybe not, but I've never actually seen a guild leader until you. I've never seen them do anything. I feel like that'd be interesting, at least.

I may not have been the warmest to him. Sorry about that. I figured he had something he was after, but he never got back to me.

Really, though, it was probably just confirming a rumor or something. He has a reputation. Spreading around false information is bad for business.

I was going to ask about that. No one can seem to agree on his age whenever I've seen art of him. I think the only consistent thing is the hair.

I'm guessing the new Spenta thing happened around the same time as Kharveryos, right? I mean, unless a mage came in and disenchanted the corpse, the only way to kill it was a holy spell. Duncan told me that.

Yeah, that's right. I don't know how much he'd want me to say, but the new Spenta is someone you can trust, if it ever comes to it.

I mean, before, I would have said go for it, but he's gone outside the little box I had him in. It's just safer to give him money.

Haven't met them. I should, but it's gotten complicated... It's always best to be careful. I'd trust the Spenta with my life, but I can't say the same for anyone else with the same confidence.

Only if it's really bad, but yes. I hate having to play "dad" with him, but I already put my foot down about him stealing wallets, so... Someone has to, I guess.

I'll keep that in mind. Trust the Spenta and the Ahura, no one else until told otherwise.
