Hijinks pt iii

[ posted thursday late afternoon. Bohun Upas members will have already seen this thread in their own forum an hour-ish after the actual occurrence ]

NPC guards killing a PC berserker.

[ have a string of links to screen caps, starting from the guards landing second blow on Ferien all the way up to being denied access to the guard station. One cap has Yonca trying to use a resurrection item on Ferien and being unable to.

(yes, Jordan was on Yonca, and she is not even trying to hide it.)

and a few additional links to caps made by other Upas members taken later in the day with some NPC dialogue regarding the incident. ]

I know that guy. Hasn't been around lately, just like the paladins... vanished only to turn up dead.

This is kinda creepy, but with as much as there is there, I can't help but think it's an intended plot. There's too much coding involved to get all that done otherwise.

The only reason I can think of that we haven't is that X-DAV told them to stay silent.

It just seems like Quartz would've said something if she could, you know? And she doesn't respond if you PM Mifcy, either. So I really do think they're being kept quiet somehow.

Yeah, def. And Ferien. He was pretty active on the forums but his last post is a couple weeks ago.

Does make me worry about who's next though. We got a lot of our own who haven't been active in a while.

Well, Alex was going to call Rayu out and form a grudging alliance to take out Anathema, but I haven't got back to Spinel yet. Can probably still happen, though.

As for Alex and Ravi, well... Alex has more or less removed himself for the berserker's guild, so this event won't change his plans and attitude much. If First tells him to sit his ass down (and I think she will) then he won't retaliate.

Ravi will be getting some heavy side-eye depending on his reaction, though.

Rayu would be willing to work around any limitations this might put on Alex. He may not like Alex, but he doesn't expect him to bend reality.

Ravi doesn't think Alex is involved or anything, I'm pretty sure he's aware of Alex's disconnect from the berserker guild. His response is a whole fuckin' lot of, "Why me?"

He's being very careful about not mentioning Alex or being seen in contact with him, though. He's worried somebody will single him out for it.
