The Underwood Wificafe is closed. We won't be reopening. Insurance won't cover the damages caused this afternoon, and we don't have the funds to rebuild.

The kitchen was destroyed by one of those creatures everyone's been talking about.

Look what I found waiting for me in Nayan's dragon mail this morning.

[inserted into the email is a screenshot of a piece of dragon mail that has clearly been handwritten in all caps and clean print. It reads as follows:

"FORGET WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN.
DO NOT INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER FURTHER.
THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING."

The message is signed with a symbol of a pair of crossed knives where a name might be.]

No clue who sent it, either. The only way this could have been creepier is if the note was attached to Nayan's door with a dagger or something.

Oh, wow!! This game is so much fun. The other players are really great about jumping into things and making plots. Or is that NPC AI? Or GMs?? Do they hire people to help out? I don't know how they get the world feeling so alive.

Iravati and Zachary were even arrested because of IC consequences! (I've heard about those!!) I've never been in something that dramatic before. I signed back on to check and one of the guards mentioned a cleric getting executed and everything. Is that Zachary!? This is really exciting! I can't wait to see how he gets out.

Um. Iravati seems a liiiittle bit stuck. I can't get her out of the cell. Do I have to wait until the event is over? It's okay if that's the case. I'm stealthed in the corner. ♥

Alex player here. Since we're pretty much in the dark about what the hell is happening, it might help to throw out what we know so far so we're all on the same page, bounce ideas off of each other.

Please don't share this information with anyone not included in this e-mail.

What I have:
1. My hunter crossed over. She was in the 90s. I hadn't used her much to RP prior to her deletion.
2. I think she's being sponsored by X-DAV. (Modern clothes, phone, knows how to use it, was not surprised when I talked to her about this.)
3. I think the security guard that took out five guys the night of the first street mob (when I met some of you) was a berserker.
4. Someone might be picking up obvious characters and taking them to X-DAV.
5. I think the beheading of Mrs. Hutchins could have been done by a berserker.
6. X-DAV knew about characters crossing over before they handed out the three prizes for the battleground event. They may or may not have known that the prizes would teleport/summon (whatever you want to call it) their game counterparts into the real world.
6a. If they did know, then X-DAV is willfully placing people in danger.
7. Alex takes damage from holy, including heals. He also regens faster when he attacks.

Rayu told Nayan to back off, unfortunately. I could ask Gabe if there's another way to get Nayan involved again... aside from whatever Anathema would do to him.

I think I may have found information on Quartz.

Rachel had photos in a folder that seemed to indicate Quartz had visited her last year. I looked through the missing persons' database and found a match.

Her name is Emily Firmin. She was reported missing by her boss some time after she was last seen at work, which was on January 12th. There's no mention of family.

Rachel Hamada attended a Zenderael meet-up at the Underwood wifiCafe on Saturday, March 5th.

She left to fetch something she'd left behind in a friend's car when the riots broke out.

She hasn't been seen since.

Rachel is a petite woman around 4'10" of Japanese descent, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing skinny jeans, a pair of brown uggs, a pink and white striped long-sleeve shirt, and a dark brown faux-fur jacket. She was last spotted behind the Underwood WifiCafe at Birch and Summer street.

We are reaching out to the community at large to aid in finding her. Rachel was visiting from North Dakota, and her family and friends are very worried. If anyone sees her, please tell her we're looking for her. If she seems disoriented, please ensure she makes it to a hospital. Any information would be of great help.
