[Dragonmail: Lynea]
I suppose I should not be offended that you left without so much as a goodbye. At this point, I suppose I am used to it.

Take care of yourself, Lynea.

[So there's going to be an official announcement Tuesday afternoon at Omid's palace! Oh boy Duncan is not looking forward to that, he is nervous as hell and he feels awkward as fuck in these new robes even though they fit perfectly, and Doukas helped him write a speech to give and he's given enough student presentations to know he can fake his way through that, but like--damn, dude, he's announcing to the public that he's the new head of the cleric guild and church, how is that not stressful?]

[so he spends the morning trying to distract himself with dumb conversations in between all the prep-work.]

[Public post]

Sooo about those trees that grow out of guns...

I kind of left my Winchester in the sitting room overnight...

[Dragonmail: Anais Vallinar]

It pains me to inform you that I will likely be unable to attend the final examination for your swordsmanship class.

However, I did recently manage to win a duel to the death based on my course learning. Would that suffice as credit in lieu of the final?

Duncan Heimdall Jackson

[E-mail: Ezra, Gabe, Harriet, Lera, Rhys]

The official announcement of my Vahishta-ness is this afternoon.

You guys wanna go for drinks tonight? Get the feeling I'll need some.

[Kakoresh is kind of boring after Fall City...]

How are things?

[Dragonmail: Harriet]

So was your position a secret when we met?

[Dragonmail - Anais Vallinar]
[so after sneaking out while Anais was sleeping and getting a warp back home to Kakoresh, he realizes he feels bad for not saying anything, and stops to write to her...]

I've gone back home. Thought I should let you know so you wouldn't worry.

I appreciate everything you've done for me.

[It's the same he used with Tyrus, but he figures there's no reason to make yet another name for anonymous activity.]

Has anyone met their creator before?

The merge has made it possible, but I don't know what to expect.

[Whoops. >> Backdating like a fiend~ Pretend this got sent out late Monday night]

Due to extenuating circumstances, class will be cancelled until further notice. Practice what you can when you can, and you shall be informed when class resumes.

Instructor Vallinar!

Instructor Kahil and I intend to investigate the disappearance of young men around this "Amy." Can you help us locate her? We will go find her and put a stop to whatever is occurring!

27 March 2013 @ 09:35 am

Does anyone know the whereabouts of Anthony Briggs? He is a student in my axemanship class. He recently began behaving strangely and talking about a woman named Amy.

He has not been in class since Thursday. It proves worrisome!

[Dragonmail: The Khshathra]
[OMFG the Khshathra. A guild leader. Anais is flailing over writing this after her text convo with Marlene, and it takes her a few tries before she manages to compose something that sounds halfway decent]

My lady Khshathra,

I have been informed by one Marlene Reliace that someone you know may require my services as a bodyguard. I am more than willing to assist you or the individual in question, but I do require a little more information. For what exactly shall I be required and when would I be needed?

Sincerely,
Anais Vallinar

Got someone in need of a bodyguard who'd benefit an awful lot from having that bodyguard be a paladin. You free?

[posted early Thurday morning]

It would seem that yesterday, Queen Omid decided it would be a splendid idea to storm the town hall of Fall City, and take the officials inside hostage.

Being a paladin formerly of Everea's Bastan, there is a part of me that feels as though I should apologize for Her Majesty's actions, but even I do not believe I can condone this. There is a way to go about things to try to make your voice heard. This is not it.

Was she always this way? I never dealt with her directly, so I am afraid I cannot say, but, regardless, I do not believe this is the best course of action.

[And a few minutes later, the post has been edited to include:]

And it seems this has resulted in the mobilization of the national guard. I do not see this ending well.

[Dragonmail: Anais Vanillar]
[The dragon shows up right in the middle of whatever anais is doing outside. Right in the middle of it too. Funny how that works.]

Hey, are you going the solstice party?

[Waits for a response...if there isn't any by a good 60 seconds, have another letter with the same message...and another 15 seconds after that. Not like there's any rush or anything.]

[Dragonmail: Marlene Reliace]

Hey, I don't know if you remember me. I'm Lynea, the woman who threatened your creator's life at one point?

Right, well we just so happen to know the same person and I was wondering if maybe you could help talk her into going to the solstice party?

Much appreciated.

[Dragonmail: Lera, Player of Acher?]

I hope this goes to the right lady.

So hello! We didn't exactly meet the best of the terms once and I never really got to talk to you at the party last time. I know you're a friend of Anais and I was hoping you could help me get her to the solstice party.

[So way later on Sunday evening, after Lera dug up a place to stay, saw the Eiffel Tower (it was on her bucket list, okay?), and got some food, it's time for more dragonmail!]

[Dragonmail: Marlene Reliace]

Hey Marlene.

I'm in the Nenakret right now. I already have the basics taken care of.

I need good places to eat and shop, if you have suggestions. Also, anyone I should or shouldn't talk to.

Also, I think I am going to go sign up and become a spellsword because self-defense and comrades sounds like a wonderful idea.

[Dragonmail: Anais Vallinar]

Good evening, Miss Vallinar. Unfortunately, I will not be at work tomorrow morning or for the forseeable future. I wrote them already.

I am currently in the Nenakret, so it would be quite a commute...

Everything is fine and I am safe, though.

Informal survey, for curiosity's sake...

For those who have crossed worlds, where were you and what were you doing when you were transported? Where did you end up? And when did it happen?

I feel like there must be some kind of pattern to it, although I'm hardly equipped to work out what it is.

[btw, Allen's name is not his username, but his full name and the fact that he's currently located in Zen are on his profile]

[His tablet is too damn small for Bograak's meaty man fingers :( Sadness]

The nature of Fall City's bus system is a confounding mystery! And my offer of ale and battle to this guardsman as an apology for yelling at their wheeled constructions resulted in a fine for five hundred dollars!

What sort of guardsman turns down ale!

And what are these "dollars?"

I spoke with my boss.

He says he could use a "local expert." Can you come into our office on Monday morning? He wants to talk to you first.

[Dragon Mail: Ravindra Savarna]

[Sent along with this dragon mail are a couple of jingly plastic balls in the brighest colors imaginable for Mittens. Sorry, Ravi.]

We have not spoken since you last wrote to me, Savarna. Are you well? Or are we not speaking to each other any longer? [Gone. So very gone.] Things have been a bit hectic here, otherwise I would have written to ask sooner.

[Dragon Mail: Rasmus]

Apparently, the berserker tournament begins tomorrow. I am told they found a way to broadcast it here to Earth. Others like us were planning on watching it together. Would you like to come? Or has someone invited you already?

[Dragon Mail: Lera Savinkov]

I would have called, but I did not know if you were busy or not. I figured sending you a dragon mail would be easier, and you could reply to it at your earliest convenience.

How exactly does one obtain employment in this world? It occurs to me that this is something I should probably have if I remain here much longer, especially after what happened to X-DAV yesterday.

Hi, it's Lera.

Do you know Rasmus? He crossed over and is at my apartment. I mentioned you were here and he seemed happy about that. He wants to see you.
